Non-Obstructive Azoospermia occurs when sperm production in the testes is impaired due to hormonal, genetic, or testicular causes. Unlike obstructive azoospermia, there is no blockage; instead, sperm production is significantly reduced or absent.

This is the most advanced sperm retrieval method for NOA. Using high-powered microscopy, tiny areas of active sperm production are located and retrieved for use in ICSI.
Even a single viable sperm retrieved through Micro-TESE or TESE can fertilize an egg successfully using ICSI, offering high chances of achieving pregnancy.
For patients with chromosomal abnormalities, CFTR mutations, or Y-chromosome deletions, genetic counseling is recommended before IVF to ensure safe and healthy conception.
